New drug tested for hospitalized heart failure patients

NCT ID NCT06556810

Summary

This is a small, early-stage study to see if a new drug called atibuclimab (IC14) is safe and might help people who are hospitalized because their heart failure has suddenly gotten worse. The study will enroll 10 adults to receive a single IV infusion of the drug and then be closely monitored. Researchers will check for side effects and look for early signs that the drug reduces inflammation and improves heart failure symptoms.
