Your own cells to fight heart failure? new trial tests revolutionary approach
NCT ID NCT06258447
Summary
This study is testing whether a patient's own concentrated bone marrow cells can help treat chronic heart failure caused by past heart attacks. About 250 participants with stable but symptomatic heart failure will be randomly assigned to receive either the cell therapy or a diagnostic heart catheterization procedure. The main goal is to see if the treatment is safe and can reduce serious events like death or hospitalization while improving quality of life.
