Arm squeeze trial seeks to boost heart health
NCT ID NCT07365501
Summary
This study is testing if a simple, non-invasive procedure using a blood pressure cuff on the arm can quickly improve how blood vessels work in people with suspected heart failure. The procedure involves inflating and deflating the cuff in cycles. Researchers will measure various blood pressure and heart function readings in 48 sedentary adults before and after the procedure to see if it helps.
