Japanese heart failure study sheds light on biomarker changes
NCT ID NCT07527767
First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at blood and urine samples from 236 Japanese adults with chronic heart failure and reduced pumping ability. Researchers measured how certain biomarkers, like BNP, changed during treatment with sacubitril valsartan or enalapril. The goal was to better understand how these drugs affect heart failure, not to test a new treatment.
