Blood test breakthrough? study hunts for early warning of Heart-Kidney link

NCT ID NCT07139626

Summary

This study aims to find blood markers that can predict if a person with chronic heart failure will develop kidney problems, a condition known as cardiorenal syndrome. Researchers will follow 150 adults with stable heart failure for one year, checking their blood for specific proteins. The goal is to identify early warning signs before kidney damage occurs, which could help doctors monitor patients more closely.
