Can a smartphone app help heart patients hit cholesterol targets?

Summary
This study tests whether an educational smartphone app can help patients who've had a heart attack understand the importance of lowering their 'bad' cholesterol (LDL-C) to recommended levels. Researchers will compare 240 patients using the app to those receiving standard care, checking if the app leads more people to reach their cholesterol goals within a year. The goal is to see if better patient education can improve the use of effective cholesterol-lowering treatments after a heart event.
