Two-Pill combo vs single pill: which works better for heart health?

NCT ID NCT07313124

Summary

This study tested whether taking a combination of two cholesterol-lowering drugs works better and is as safe as taking just one drug for people with heart disease. Researchers followed 66 adults with high cholesterol for 12 weeks, comparing a single rosuvastatin pill against a combination of rosuvastatin and ezetimibe. The goal was to see which approach more effectively controls cholesterol levels while monitoring for side effects.
