Scientists probe blood for clues to heart attacks
NCT ID NCT07384910
Summary
This study aims to better understand the role of inflammation in heart artery disease (atherosclerosis), which causes heart attacks and strokes. Researchers will collect and analyze blood samples from 600 adults undergoing a heart artery scan. They will measure specific proteins on blood cells and inflammatory signals to see how they differ between patients with recent and long-standing heart conditions.
