Tiny heart implant offers hope for unexplained chest pain

NCT ID NCT06991322

Summary

This early study is testing a small, self-expanding device called the A-FLUX Reducer that gets implanted in a heart vein. It aims to reduce chest pain and improve symptoms in people with coronary microvascular dysfunction—a condition where tiny heart vessels don't work properly—when medications haven't helped enough. Researchers will check if the device can be safely placed and if it helps patients feel better.
