New scan could replace uncomfortable heart check
NCT ID NCT06523166
Summary
This study aims to see if a CT scan is as good as the current standard TEE scan for checking a Watchman FLX heart device after it's implanted. About 320 adults who get the device will have both scans on the same day, 90 days after their procedure. The goal is to find a less invasive way to monitor the device for leaks or blood clots.
