Heart hole plug: doctors track Long-Term safety
NCT ID NCT04034498
Summary
This study is monitoring the long-term performance and safety of a small implant used to close a hole in the heart wall (called a perimembranous VSD). It follows 50 patients who have already received the device to see how well it seals the defect and if any serious complications occur over time. The goal is to gather real-world data on this minimally invasive treatment option.
