Hidden heart risk? study probes exercise blood pressure in repaired aorta patients

NCT ID NCT07134621

Summary

This study aims to understand if exercise causes high blood pressure that damages the heart, blood vessels, or kidneys in adults who had surgery as children to fix a narrowed aorta. Researchers will observe 50 patients, measuring their blood pressure during exercise tests and checking their heart, artery stiffness, and kidney function. The goal is to gather information, not to test a new treatment.
