Do aortic stents reshape your heart? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07415447
Summary
This study aims to understand how a common, minimally invasive procedure to repair a weakened aorta (the body's main artery) affects the heart's size, shape, and function over time. Researchers will follow 40 patients for one year after their stent surgery, using heart scans and blood tests to track changes. The goal is to gather knowledge to potentially improve future care, not to test a new treatment.
