Using your own cells to fight untreatable heart pain
NCT ID NCT03455725
Summary
This study is testing a cell therapy for people with severe chest pain (angina) that doesn't respond to standard medications or procedures. Doctors take a patient's own bone marrow cells and inject them directly into the heart muscle to try to improve blood flow. The goal is to see if this treatment helps people exercise longer and have fewer chest pain episodes compared to a sham procedure.
