First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study involves 20 adults with hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) who are already on standard medications. Researchers want to see if changes in heart blood flow over one year are linked to how far patients can walk in six minutes. Participants will have two heart MRI scans and walking tests about a year apart. The goal is to better understand how treatment affects heart function and daily activity.
