First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at 500 people who had their first heart attack and got an MRI of their heart. The goal is to find out which MRI results can predict future heart problems like heart failure or the need for a transplant. It does not test a new treatment but collects data to improve how doctors assess risk after a heart attack.
