One-Stop heart attack test could eliminate second procedures

NCT ID NCT07264881

Summary

This study is testing whether a new ultrasound tool called UFR can accurately measure artery blockages during initial heart attack treatment. Currently, patients often need to return for a second procedure weeks later for accurate measurements. Researchers will follow 200 heart attack patients for one year to see if this new approach can provide reliable results immediately, potentially eliminating the need for follow-up procedures.
