Blood protein may reveal hidden heart risks
NCT ID NCT05175261
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study followed 764 people who had a heart attack to see if a protein on their platelets (FcγRIIa) could predict their risk of another heart attack, stroke, or death. Researchers measured the protein level and tracked participants for up to 18 months. The goal was to create a risk score combining this protein with other factors to better identify high-risk patients.
