AI to predict heart attack aftermath?
NCT ID NCT07382700
Summary
This study aims to understand if specific patterns of oxidized fats in the blood can help predict which heart attack patients are at higher risk for future major heart problems after getting a stent. Researchers will observe 240 patients who have just had a severe heart attack and received emergency stent surgery. They will analyze blood samples and use computer learning to try to build a prediction tool, but this is an observational study that does not test a new treatment.
