Can firefighters speed up heart attack care? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07144059
Summary
This study looks at whether having firefighters and other first responders perform initial heart tests (ECGs) helps heart attack patients get to hospital faster. Researchers will compare response times when specialized medical teams versus non-medical first responders perform these initial tests. The goal is to understand if expanding who can do these tests improves emergency care for heart attacks.
