Study asks: can heart attack patients go home sooner?

Summary
This study is testing whether patients who have had a heart attack can be safely sent home from the hospital much sooner than usual. It will compare sending patients home about one day after treatment to the standard stay of more than a day and a half. Researchers want to see if the shorter stay leads to similar rates of major heart problems, death, or re-hospitalization over the next year.
