Tracking the hidden danger: when heart attacks trigger chaotic heart rhythms
NCT ID NCT04528511
Summary
This study aims to understand how a new irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) that develops after a heart attack affects patient health over time. Researchers will follow 774 patients from multiple hospitals in China for two years to track how much irregular heartbeat they experience and what health problems develop. The goal is to identify which patients are at highest risk and help doctors decide who might benefit from blood-thinning medications.
