Simple blood test could predict heart attack survival
NCT ID NCT07026708
Summary
This study aims to see if a simple, cheap blood test can predict which heart attack patients are at higher risk of dying or having another serious heart problem within six months. Researchers will track 1600 patients who have had a heart attack and received a stent. They will check a specific inflammation marker in the blood at admission and after treatment, then follow up with patients for six months to see if higher levels are linked to worse outcomes.
