New scan and blood test aim to spot future heart failure risk

NCT ID NCT07268391

Summary

This study aims to see if combining a new type of CT scan with a blood test can better predict which heart attack patients are at high risk for developing heart failure. Researchers will enroll 95 adults who have had a major heart attack and have reduced heart function. The goal is to create a better model to identify patients who need closer monitoring and personalized care plans.
