New drug aims to protect hearts after a heart attack
NCT ID NCT06683131
Summary
This study is testing if a monthly injectable drug called tafolecimab can help people who have just had a heart attack. Researchers want to see if the drug lowers the risk of having another major heart problem within a year and improves blood flow in the small heart vessels. They will compare results between people who receive the drug along with standard care and those who receive standard care alone.
