Diabetes pill tested to mend broken hearts

Summary
This study is testing if a diabetes medication called empagliflozin can help improve blood vessel health and heart function in people recovering from a major heart attack. It will follow 80 patients for one year, comparing those who take the drug to those who do not. The goal is to see if the drug helps control the disease and reduces the risk of future heart problems.
