Summary

This study aimed to understand how often a heart attack involves bleeding inside the heart muscle, a condition called hemorrhagic myocardial infarction. Researchers analyzed existing health records from over 24,000 people across the United States who had suffered a heart attack. The goal was to map the prevalence of this condition state-by-state and see how it relates to other complications like heart failure.
