Looking back: do common heart attack drugs cause dangerous bleeding?

NCT ID NCT06851325

Summary

This study looked back at the medical records of over 6,000 patients who had a severe type of heart attack (STEMI). Researchers wanted to understand if the different blood-thinning drugs given after a heart attack affect the risk of bleeding inside the damaged heart muscle. The goal is to learn which treatments might be safest and most effective for future patients.
