Heart stent study aims to sharpen risk prediction with advanced imaging

NCT ID NCT07511231

First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study will observe 1,800 adults who have had a stent placed in a heart artery to see if new imaging and blood flow tests can better predict future heart problems. Researchers will use special computer analysis of X-ray images to measure blood flow and resistance in the artery. The goal is to improve how doctors identify patients who still have a high risk of heart attacks or other issues after stent surgery.
