Heart artery 'Crush' vs. 'Super Balloon': which works better?

Summary
This study aims to find the best way to open severely hardened heart arteries after an initial drilling procedure. It will compare using a special balloon that delivers sound waves to crack the calcium versus a very high-pressure balloon to stretch it open. About 162 adults with this condition will be randomly assigned to one of these two methods, and researchers will measure how well the artery opens and track safety for a year.
