Heart study tests One-Size-Fits-All vs. custom calcium removal
NCT ID NCT07105930
Summary
This study compares two approaches for treating severely hardened heart arteries before placing a stent. One approach uses a single device that sands away calcium, while the other lets doctors choose from several methods based on the patient's specific calcium. Researchers want to see if the single-device approach works as well as the personalized method at helping the stent expand properly.
