Scientists test heart Scan's repeatability for rare disease
NCT ID NCT06790394
Summary
This study aims to see how consistent a special PET scan is at measuring amyloid protein buildup in the heart. It will enroll 15 people, including patients with cardiac amyloidosis and healthy controls, who will each get the same scan twice. The main goal is to understand if the scan gives the same result when repeated, which is important for doctors to trust it for diagnosis and monitoring.
