Scientists test new brain scanner to understand infant hearing

NCT ID NCT07392164

Summary

This study aims to test a new prototype device that measures brain activity in response to speech sounds in infants. Researchers will compare brain responses in infants with normal hearing to those with hearing loss, both with and without their hearing aids. The goal is to see if the device can accurately detect differences in how the brain processes sound.
