New sound processor aims to improve hearing in crowded rooms

Summary
This study tests a noise-reduction feature called ForwardFocus in two sound processors (Nucleus 8 and Nucleus 7) for adults with cochlear implants. 26 veterans and non-veterans will use each processor and take speech tests in background noise. The goal is to see which processor helps them understand speech better in noisy situations.
