Scientists probe how kids and adults hear with implants
NCT ID NCT05923203
Summary
This study aims to understand how people, especially children, hear when they use a cochlear implant and a hearing aid in the same ear. Researchers will measure how well 160 participants with this setup can understand speech and tell where sounds are coming from, especially in noisy places. The results will help audiologists better fit these devices for patients.
