Real-Time monitor could save Patients' remaining hearing during implant surgery
NCT ID NCT06268340
Summary
This study is testing whether using a special monitoring system during cochlear implant surgery helps preserve patients' remaining natural hearing. During surgery, the monitor alerts the surgeon if the inner ear is being damaged, allowing them to adjust their technique. Researchers will compare hearing outcomes between patients who receive this guided surgery and those who receive the standard procedure.
