Brain zaps & hearing aids: a new hope for aging minds?

NCT ID NCT07389213

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique, combined with hearing aids, can help improve thinking skills in older adults with age-related hearing loss. Researchers will enroll 189 people, including those with hearing loss who do or don't use hearing aids, and a comparison group with normal hearing. The main goal is to see if the treatment improves scores on memory and thinking tests and to understand how it might change brain activity.
