Double the implants, double the hearing? study tests Kids' ears in noisy classrooms

NCT ID NCT07358728

Summary

This study aims to find out if using two hearing implants is better than one for children born with severe ear malformations. It will enroll 12 children, aged 7-17, who are deaf due to these conditions. Researchers will compare how well the children understand speech in noisy settings with one implant activated versus both.
