Summary

This study looks at whether a special hearing device attached to the skull (osseointegrated device) can improve thinking, memory, and quality of life in adults with certain types of hearing loss. About 50 people aged 18-85 who could benefit from the device will be followed for 3 years. Researchers will test hearing, memory, and daily function to see if the device helps beyond just hearing better.
