New study tracks hearing and balance changes after cochlear implants

Summary

This study follows 39 adults with severe hearing loss who are getting a cochlear implant. Researchers will test their hearing and balance before surgery and at 6, 12, and 24 months after. The goal is to see how both hearing and balance change over time and how patients feel about their results.
