Can a smart hearing aid make conversations clearer?
NCT ID NCT07224919
Summary
This study aims to gather evidence to support claims about a new hearing aid feature called AutoFocus 360. The feature is designed to automatically focus on a person speaking, even if they are to the side or behind the listener, to improve speech clarity and reduce background noise. Researchers will ask 25 adults with mild to moderate-severe hearing loss to compare the sound quality of this new feature against standard hearing aid settings.
