New tuning method aims to cut through the noise for hearing implant users
NCT ID NCT05955469
Summary
This study is testing a new way to program a cochlear implant when it's used with a hearing aid in the other ear. Researchers want to see if this new tuning method helps people understand speech better, especially in noisy environments, compared to the standard method. The study will involve 20 adults in France who are newly fitted with a cochlear implant and a hearing aid.
