Do better hearing aid fittings lead to better hearing?
NCT ID NCT05621798
Summary
This study aimed to find out if a more precise method for setting up hearing aids leads to better results for users than the standard default settings. Researchers compared the two methods in 101 first-time hearing aid users with hearing loss in both ears. They measured how well people could hear in noisy places, their satisfaction, and whether the more precise method was worth the extra time and cost.
