Summary

This study tested a smartphone app called HearCare MED-EL that lets people with MED-EL cochlear implants check their device and update settings remotely, without needing to visit a clinic. 120 adults who already had a compatible implant for at least 3 months took part. The goal was to see if the app works safely and reliably for everyday hearing care.
