Summary
This study is testing a new program designed to promote healthy eating and prevent childhood obesity in Hispanic families living in rural Arkansas. Researchers are working with local churches to develop and deliver cooking workshops and nutrition education to mothers and their children. The goal is to see if this culturally appropriate program helps families cook healthier meals and eat more fruits and vegetables.
