First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at whether different exercise programs can help people over 60 stay healthy and active. About 1940 older adults will be assigned to one of several exercise groups (like football, walking, or home-based exercises) or a no-exercise control group. Researchers will measure physical abilities, mental well-being, and loneliness to see which programs work best.
