First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study surveyed 251 health professionals (anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and others) in Turkey to understand their views on whether conversations during surgery can subconsciously affect patients under general anesthesia. The goal was to assess awareness and attitudes about this rare but potentially impactful phenomenon. No patients were treated; instead, the research gathered opinions to guide future ethical and clinical practices.
