First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at ways to improve healing after removing impacted wisdom teeth. Researchers tested whether placing a patient's own blood products (platelet concentrates) into the tooth socket and using low-level laser therapy could reduce pain, swelling, and speed up bone healing. 122 healthy adults took part, and the treatments are already used in clinics and considered safe.
