New hope for debilitating headache sufferers?
NCT ID NCT07370142
Summary
This study tested a minimally invasive procedure for people with severe, long-lasting headaches or facial pain that hasn't improved with standard medications. Doctors used a special needle to deliver gentle electrical pulses to a key nerve cluster in the face, aiming to reduce pain signals. The goal was to see if this treatment could lower pain levels and improve daily life for up to six months.
