Zapping neck nerves to stop head pain: a 60-Day trial

NCT ID NCT05491915

Summary

This study is testing whether a small, temporary electrical device can relieve pain from specific types of headaches that start in the neck. The SPRINT PNS System delivers mild stimulation to nerves at the top of the neck for up to 60 days. Researchers are measuring if it reduces pain levels and how much pain interferes with daily life for 50 participants with cervicogenic headaches or occipital neuralgia.
